Frequently asked questions
What NDIS services can I find on Solotude?
Solotude covers 29 services across daily living, allied health and therapy, and lifestyle, delivered by twelve types of independent providers, from support workers and nurses to OTs, psychologists, cleaners and gardeners.
Should I search by service or by profession?
Whichever is easier for you. If you know the job title, like occupational therapist, start with the profession. If you only know the help you need, like a home modification assessment, start with the service. Both lead to the same providers.
Is Solotude free to use?
Yes. Solotude is free for participants, families and support coordinators, always. Providers never pay a commission on their work.
Do I need to be NDIS registered to use these providers?
No, you don’t need to be registered. If your plan is self-managed or plan-managed, you can use registered or unregistered providers. If it’s NDIA-managed, you need a registered provider, and you can filter your search by NDIS registration.
