What’s usually included, and what isn’t

  • Mowing and edging
  • Weeding and basic pruning
  • Clearing paths, gutters and leaves
  • Removing green waste
  • Keeping access clear and safe
NDIS gardening is about safety and access, not looks. It usually doesn’t cover landscaping, new lawns or garden beds, tree removal, or jobs a landlord or strata is responsible for.

Who provides gardening and lawn care?

NDIS gardening is done by gardeners. Many offer regular fortnightly or monthly visits, and some also help with small jobs around the outside of your home.
