Built by someone who’s done your job

Finding a provider for a participant usually means ringing around, chasing agencies, scrolling Facebook groups and waiting days for a reply. Then doing it all again for the next participant. Solotude’s founder was a working support coordinator who got tired of that. So Solotude is built around how coordinators actually work: lots of participants, lots of professions, lots of suburbs, and never enough time.

How Solotude works for support coordinators

  1. Create a free account. Choose “My participant” when you sign up. It takes a couple of minutes. Create a free coordinator account
  2. Search by profession, suburb, availability and verified credentials. Results are real people, not agency logos.
  3. Or post a job. Run as many job posts as you need, for different participants, professions and suburbs, from one dashboard.
  4. Message providers privately inside Solotude. Your phone and email stay hidden until you choose to share them.
  5. Once you’ve found the right fit, introduce the provider to your participant. The arrangement is between them, and Solotude stays out of the middle.

Filter for exactly what your participant needs

Narrow your search in seconds, so you only contact providers who can actually take the work.
Filter What it helps with
Profession Twelve professions, from support workers and nurses to OTs, psychologists, cleaners and gardeners
Location and travel Providers who cover your participant’s suburb
Availability Days of the week and times of day
How support is delivered In person, telehealth or both
Provider gender Where it matters for the support
Verified credentials NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS registration

What we check before a provider appears

Every provider has their photo ID, ABN and NDIS Commission compliance records checked before they can connect with anyone on Solotude. Nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and psychologists must also hold current Ahpra registration, and behaviour support practitioners must be registered NDIS providers. Worker Screening Checks, Working with Children Checks and NDIS registration are verified when a provider adds them, and you can filter by each one. Qualifications, experience and insurance are self-reported and labelled that way, so you can see exactly what’s been checked before you refer. Full details are in our Verification Policy.

Registered and unregistered providers

Most providers on Solotude are independent sole traders and small businesses, and many are unregistered. Here’s how that works for your participants:
  • Plan-managed and self-managed participants can use registered or unregistered providers.
  • NDIA-managed participants need registered providers. Filter by NDIS registration to see only registered providers.
  • Every provider, registered or not, must follow the NDIS Code of Conduct.

Your participants’ privacy comes first

You don’t need to enter any participant information to search. When you post a job, providers see the profession, suburb, hours and schedule, never the participant’s name, address, NDIS number or diagnosis. Solotude checks job descriptions for personal details before they’re published and prompts you to remove anything that shouldn’t be there. Read more on safety and security.

Free for coordinators, always

Support coordinators, participants and families never pay to use Solotude. We don’t take bookings, handle payments or take a cut of anyone’s plan. Providers never pay a commission either, so their full rate goes into the support itself.

Frequently asked questions

Is Solotude free for support coordinators?Yes. Searching, posting jobs and messaging providers is free for support coordinators, and always will be. There are no fees for participants or families either.
Can I post jobs for more than one participant?Yes. You can run as many job posts as you need from one account, across different participants, professions and suburbs. Edit or delete a post as soon as a participant’s needs change or the role is filled.
Do I need to share participant details to post a job?No. Job posts are de-identified. Providers see the profession, suburb, hours and schedule, not the participant’s name, address, NDIS number or diagnosis. Solotude also checks job descriptions for personal details before they go live.
How are providers on Solotude checked?Every provider has their photo ID, ABN and NDIS Commission compliance records checked before they can connect with anyone on Solotude. Nurses, OTs, physios and psychologists must also hold current Ahpra registration, and behaviour support practitioners must be NDIS registered. Other credentials are verified when provided and you can filter by them.
Can I find registered providers for NDIA-managed participants?Yes. Filter your search by NDIS registration to see only providers whose registration we’ve verified on the NDIS Commission’s register.
How do providers get back to me?Providers who apply to your job post message you inside Solotude, and we email you so you know someone has applied. You choose who to reply to, and when to share your contact details.
