Solotude is free for participants, families, informal supports and support coordinators. Providers pay a flat weekly subscription starting at $12 a week per profile. There is no commission, no booking fee, no lead fee and no cut of anything you earn. You can cancel at any time, and your subscription is a tax deductible business expense.

How it works for a small business
Your staff are what people search
Coordinators search for a person, not a company. Each staff member gets their own profile with their own profession, location and availability. Your business name and logo sit on every one of them.
They find the person, then they find you
From any staff profile, a coordinator can click through to your full business profile and see everything else you offer. One good worker becomes a door into the whole business.
Each staff profile applies for itself
Applications belong to the staff member who made them, and so do the enquiries that come back. Every profile gets its own daily allowance, so your team is never queueing behind each other.

What these features actually mean
Public verified listing
On every plan.
Your profile is live in Solotude search with your photo, your bio, your qualifications, your service areas, your availability and your rates, and it shows exactly which credentials Solotude has verified. It works while you sleep. Someone searching for your profession in your suburb at 11pm on a Sunday can find you and message you, and the enquiry is waiting for you in the morning.
Daily applications
On every plan. 1 a day on Plus, 5 on Pro, unlimited on Premium.
This is your outbound limit, not your inbound one. Enquiries always reach you. The cap is only on how many job applications you send per day.
Job notifications
On Pro and Premium.
Participants, families and support coordinators post jobs describing the support they need. When a job matches your profession and your service area, we send you an email telling you a job has been posted. You log in to Solotude to read the full job and apply for it there. You choose whether to apply. Nothing is assigned to you, and nothing is sent on your behalf.
Priority search visibility
On Premium.
Every subscribed profile ranks above unsubscribed profiles in search. Premium profiles rank highest of all. There is no auction and no bidding for individual positions: the ranking follows your plan.
Why it costs this little
The honest answer is that we are a discovery platform, not a middleman.
Other platforms take a percentage because they insert themselves into the work. They run the booking, the timesheet, the invoice and sometimes the employment relationship, and every one of those steps costs them money on every hour you deliver. So they charge you on every hour you deliver.
Solotude works differently. Our job is to put you in front of the right person and let you talk safely, and we have built that to run brilliantly at scale. Your rates, your schedule and your client relationship stay yours, which means we can charge one small flat fee instead of taking a slice of your income for the life of every client you meet here.
That also means our incentives point the same way as yours. A commission platform earns more when you work more, whether or not it did anything to make that happen. We only keep your $16 a week if you keep finding work worth paying for. If Solotude stops delivering enquiries, you cancel, and we deserve to lose you.
Put it against your own numbers
One ongoing client at two hours a week, at a $58 hourly rate, is about $6,000 of income a year. Pro costs $832 a year.
Put differently, a single two hour shift a week earns $116, which covers your Pro subscription seven times over. The subscription is not a marketing budget. It is roughly the cost of a coffee and a sandwich, once a week, to be findable by everyone in your area who is actively looking for exactly what you do.

That is $5,200 a year back in your pocket. More than $5,000, on one caseload, for doing exactly the same work.
Solotude Pro costs less than a commission platform takes from three hours of work a week. Beyond that, everything you earn is yours.
Figures based on Mable’s published fee schedule, in effect since 22 March 2023 and current at September 2026: a support engagement fee of 10% of the agreed rate deducted from the provider, plus a client platform fee of 7.95% added to what the seeker pays.
Against employment platforms
Platforms that employ support workers directly pay a set rate and keep the margin between what the participant pays and what the worker receives. Those platforms offer employment benefits, which suits some workers well. What they do not offer is rate control, client ownership, or the ability to build your own business. On Solotude you are the business.
Against building it yourself
The alternative to being listed is building your own presence and buying your own attention. That is a real cost, and most providers underestimate it.
- A website costs money before anyone sees it. A small business site in Australia runs roughly $3,000 to $15,000 to build, then $300 to $1,500 a year in domain, hosting and maintenance just to stay online.
- Ads are the ongoing cost. Australia’s median cost per lead on Meta was $50.80 over the twelve months to June 2026, swinging between $25 and $102 depending on the month. Two leads a month at the median is about $1,220 a year. Chasing the same volume in a competitive month, closer to $2,450.
- Then there is management. Writing the ads, testing them and watching the spend is either hours of your week or a retainer paid to someone else.
Add it up and being found on your own runs to thousands of dollars a year before you count your own time. And a Meta lead is a stranger who clicked something, while a Solotude enquiry comes from a verified account that searched for your profession in your suburb and read your credentials before messaging you.

How it works for sole traders
You work for yourself under your own ABN. One subscription, one profile.
- Create your account and choose sole trader.
- Build your profile: your photo and bio, your professions, your service areas, your availability and your rates.
- Upload your credentials for verification. Verification usually completes within two business days. See the verification policy.
- Go live, pick your plan, and start taking enquiries and applying for posted jobs.

How it works for small businesses
You run a business with workers under you. You sign up once as a business and add a profile for each worker.
- No cap on staff. Add as many worker profiles as you need, and add more as you hire.
- Every worker is verified individually. Your verified ABN covers the business, but each worker must meet the full credential requirements for their own profession in their own name. A business owner cannot vouch for their staff. This is not us being difficult. It is the reason seekers trust the profiles they find.
- Each worker is separately findable. Every staff profile appears in search in its own right, receives its own direct enquiries and sees relevant posted jobs. You are a team of findable people, not one listing.
- Pricing is per profile. You pay the weekly rate for each active worker profile, so your cost tracks your team rather than sitting as a fixed overhead.
