NDIS Code of Conduct
The NDIS Code of Conduct is one national standard that applies to every NDIS provider and worker in Australia, registered or unregistered. Every provider on Solotude agrees to follow it.
Applies to all providers on Solotude. Last updated October 2026
The Code applies to everyone
The NDIS Code of Conduct is set by the Australian Government and enforced by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. It applies to all providers and workers delivering NDIS supports, whether or not they’re registered. Being unregistered doesn’t mean unregulated.
What the Code asks of providers
Under the Code, NDIS providers and workers must:
- Act with respect for each person’s rights to freedom of expression, self-determination and decision-making
- Respect the privacy of people with disability
- Provide supports and services in a safe and competent way, with care and skill
- Act with integrity, honesty and transparency
- Promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that might affect the quality and safety of supports
- Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to all forms of violence, exploitation, neglect and abuse
- Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to sexual misconduct
The full Code and its official guidance are published by the NDIS Commission. Read the NDIS Code of Conduct.
